My First Freebie! =D

Yay!!

I have my first freebie to post!!

And it's all thanks to RebeccaB for giving me special permission to use her kits to put together some quickpages and cluster frames, to get me started on my way to making my own kits :)

So the first freebie is going to be a quickpage made with RebeccaB's Buggledoo kit. It's the family tree layout I posted a few days ago... I thought I would start with something I had already done and see how it goes....and make sure I've done everything right!

so....here is the preview..

and you can download it *hopefully* here:

I hope it works!! hahaha

If it works and you download it can you please leave a comment? Pretty pretty please with a cherry on top?? =P

You can get RebeccaB's full Buggledoo kit from her Blog here.

And now a I have a layout to share, this is one of my fav photo's of William, in his little Superman outfit I got from Target hehehe.

hehehe look at the lil cape =D

Now, I got the papers from RebeccaB (blue and red are from her Sir Kalseru kit and the yellow from her Buzz Attitude), the Superman buttons I got off facebook, lol and I cannot for the life of me remember where I got the frames from :S So if you recognise them please let me know so I can give you credit! The font I got from myfonts.com. I looked all over the place for the Superman font and couldn't find it anywhere!! They had every movie and tv font you could think of except for superman!! So this was the closest I could find!

Anyway blah blah blah... hope you like it! and stay tuned for more freebies =D

A bit of everything :)

Today I'm putting up a few different things. First is a before and after photo of Charlotte that I did in Photoshop using some Actions that I got from the very talented Coffee Shop Rita =D She has an awesome blog where she gives away free actions for Photoshop that also work in Elements! Very handy as I haven't been able to find many other actions that will work in PSE. You can find her blog here or by clicking on her button in my side bar. Everyone should check it out =D
So here is the before photo :

I haven't done anything to it, if it looks a bit orange its because she was in her blue and orange shade tent out the back, lol.
Here is the After:

I used Rita's Eye Bright Action and her Creamy Chocolate B&W Action :)

Next I have some fantasy photo's I did in PSE. The first one is of William in a shell hehehe. It was surprisingly easy!

The next one is Charlotte as a fairy :) I took this photo of her at her 3rd birthday party.

The wings and background I got from Deviant Art and the brushes are from Obsidian Dawn :)

And now for some layouts. These are both made with kits from Bo's Design's, the first one is a kit called Cute Little Monkey and is of my gorgeous boy William:

Isn't he a cutie??
And this one I did with Bo's kit A Bit Shabby of my pretty princess Charlotte:

You can find both these kits here

So I'm almost ready to post my first freebie quickpage! I just have to work out how to do it, lol. I think I'll be right and hopefully have it up tomorrow =D

I also have my layouts in a gallery now at Scrapbook Flair, you can find me here. I've only uploaded a few so far but people have viewed them and I have points - whatever that means! hahaha! I must read up about the site!

Well thats it for now, I have plenty more to show but I think I've carried on long enough today =D I'm off to work out how to do give away my freebie!

Newest layouts

These layouts I've got today are all made with kits from the lovely RebeccaB. The first kit I used is called Theabella's Tutu and I just love it! You can check it out on RebeccaB's Blog here and it is available to buy at Scrap Party DigiShop

Here are the 2 layouts I've made with it so far (I can see myself making many more, its so pretty!)

These photo's were taken at my husbands cousins wedding where our daughter Charlotte was a beautiful fairy flower girl :) She's with her cousin Sonny in the first layout, they were playing in the fountain while the rest of the bridal party were having their pics taken, lol. The second one is Charlotte during the ceremony - she kept asking if it was time to dance yet! See how pretty the kit is!?

The next layout I made with RebeccaB's Kit Buggledoo which I think is super cute (obvioulsy as I used it to decorate my blog, lol) I'm really happy with this one!

This is family tree of sorts featuring our two kidlets (top left and the bubby boy middle bottom =D) and our seven nieces and nephews! I think this is my favourite layout I've done so far - I might even get this one printed hehe.

The next one I made with Rebecca's Tweetledee kit:

I love the bright colours in this one =D

One last one hehe, this time I used Rebecca's Miss Poppy kit. It came out almost the same as the quickpage she did but I used the Alpha which I loved and the background is a little different :)

This is one of my fav photo's of Charlotte :)

So anyway... I hope you like all my layouts! I've definitely had fun creating them! And RebeccaB has kindly given me permission to use her kits to create some quickpages and cluster frames to give away on here which I'm really excited about! So hopefully I will get some done over the weekend, if my kiddies let me of course!! Maybe that will help me figure out how on earth to make my own kits hahaha!
Definitely check out RebeccaB's Blog for some awesome free kits, she also has some really great Collab kits together with Scrappy Bug and Kelly Jo's Scraps that I've been playing with =D

Some more Photoshopping

So today I'm going to put up some more fantasy photo's I've done in photoshop :) I really love making these!
This first one is one of my absolute favourites, someone did a photo for me of Charlotte as a fairy in a jar about 2 years ago and that is what made me want to start doing photo's of my own. So here it is:

The next two are of my lil man Willy, my very own Anne Geddes baby =D. The first one I followed a tutorial found here. I used the same red tulip and adjusted the colour to blue. Oooh tricky, lol. Remember , I'm a beginner, its all very exciting to me!! The second picture was an orange tulip on a purple background and I changed the colours on that one too :)

Here they are:

He's 3 weeks old in both photo's :) Soo little!
Hope you like!

My first Digi Scraps

Well, I've made it to post number 2 =D. I'm going to put up some of the very first digi scrap layouts I did, even though I did heaps of other photoshop stuff before I started scrapping, I'm going to alternate between my fantasy pics and edits and my layouts. Because I can =P lol.
So here is the first layout :

I made this first layout with the Transparent Water kit from DigitALE Digital Scrapbooking I had so much fun making this that I went crazy looking for kits to download! Actually, I'm almost as addicted to searching for kits as I am to using them, lol.

So here is the next one:

This is the souvenir photo that hubby and Charlotte got when they went to the circus, it was the first time either of them had been! I got this fantastic Circus kit from Dreamsfulfilled. I love love love the printed circus paper and all the elements are amazing =D

Last layouts, also made with a Dreamsfulfilled kit called Mouse House:

I loved this kit so much I took these photo's of Charlotte so I could use it, lol

Enjoy!

My First Post =D

Ok, so, here I am. Starting a Blog. Again. lol. I started one a while back but didn't make it past 3 posts haha!. This time though, I AM going to stick to it, because I'm starting it as somewhere to display my digi scrapping layouts and my photoshop creations =D.
Just before Christmas last year we bought a great big shiny 27"inch iMac and I LOVE IT! I'd tuck it up in bed with me if I could, lol (not too sure hubby would be impressed though!) Then for Christmas hubby gave me Photoshop Elements, something I've wanted for AGES and now I finally have it =D Yay!
I love love love love taking photo's, especially of my gorgeous children and now I can play around with the pictures in Photoshop. I've been doing lots of fantasy style pictures and I've just discovered digi scrapping and I am addicted!! There are so many great freebies out there! But I will get to those a bit later =D
For now, here are 2 of my first attempts at creating fantasy pictures!

This first one is my lil man William when he was 3 weeks old :) I'm so proud of this pic, lol =D

This one is my pretty princess Charlotte :) I love this one so much too but the cutting out is a bit dodgy - this was before I knew about the magic extractor and I cut her out with the magnetic lasoo, lol.

I hope you like them, I have plenty more to put up, lol.
